Daniel Krug

After his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and process engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Daniel Krug successfully completed the master’s program at KIT with a focus on food process engineering. He was able to continuously expand his experience in the field of extrusion with a focus on rheology and numerical flow simulations during his studies. Most recently, in his studies, he conducted research on the the influence of oil addition during the extrusion of meat substitute products based on plant protein. At nexnoa, he is now consistently pursuing his passion – since mid-2022, he has been developing and researching in our team in the areas of extrusion processes, modeling and simulation, and rheology.
